Okusuma Park.

Adjacent to the east side of the Tairibata Yakujin Shrine, this park has been developed by preserving rich nature such as natural forests, seven reservoirs, terraced rice field sites, streams, and grasslands.
Although it is surrounded by a new town, it is a valuable place where visitors can get in close contact with nature and living creatures.

We went there on a weekday evening after the rain.
It was a very sparsely populated place.
It’s a great place to make love in the forest.

There is a free parking lot (30 cars) at Okusuma Park.
It is about 5 minutes northwest from the Tsukimiyama Interchange on the Hanshin Expressway.
There is also a delicious bakery “Fanbek” nearby ♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡.

Komatsu Pond, Chibi Plaza, Firefly and Dragonfly Wetland.

There are other kingfishers in this pond, and they dive into the pond to catch fish.

There are a lot of carp, too.
Now, O-chan is in no mood to take pictures of birds, so I’ll hurry on ahead!

A large lawn is spreading out.
There are also people walking their dogs and groups of people strolling around.
You can walk around the pond, forest, and lawn without getting bored.

A children’s plaza with playground equipment.
There is a large playground equipment with a slide and net combined, and there are many benches around the area, so it would be nice to eat lunch here.

There is a “firefly creek” where fireflies can be seen around June.
It is very rare to see fireflies even in Kobe city, so I am glad that there is such a firefly habitat in the city.

You can see from the map that the park has a lot of greenery. And lots of big ponds!
We finished the day by walking halfway around the park. The walk took about 40 minutes.
